Each row aggregates every publicly traded US company Damodaran's dataset covers within that industry classification. Current PE uses trailing 12-month diluted EPS including one-time items, trailing PE excludes them, forward PE uses next-12-month analyst EPS estimates. PEG divides the PE ratio by the expected 5-year earnings growth rate. ROE is aggregate net income divided by aggregate book equity for money-making firms in the industry.
